1:1 Laptop Rollout

Parent Information

A laptop computer will be assigned to all high school students. There are several requirements that must be completed and returned before a student can receive his/her laptop.

  • Parents must view a short video about the 1:1 rollout and the expectation. The video can be found on the county web page.
  • Parent/Guardian Terms of Use and Protection Plan Agreement must be reviewed, completed, and signed.
  • Student Best Practices Agreement must be reviewed by each student and parent/guardian and signed by the student.
  • OPTIONAL:  One-year Protection Plan ($30) can be purchased with cash or check. Checks need to written separate from other school fees and made payable to Jefferson County High School.

There are TWO ways to complete this process.

1. You may complete this on your own at home. Please watch the video and send the completed packet, along with the optional protection plan, to school with the student.

2.  You may attend the BLITZ event at JCHS. At this event you can view the video, ask questions, complete the required paperwork, and purchase the optional protection plan.
