Senior ACT Re-take

On Tuesday, October 16, 2018, the 12th graders across the state of Tennessee will be taking the ACT, which is a state graduation requirement. They will be taking the ACT at the main campus of JCHS and should arrive no later than 7:55AM. Room assignments are posted in the commons area, and students must bring a photo ID to be admitted into the testing room.

Cell phone and smart watches should not be brought into the school on this day.

All students should bring sharpened number 2 pencils, and their completed early dismissal form. Students will turn in their completed early dismissal form to their ACT test proctor on the Tuesday, October 16. to be permitted to leave campus at the conclusion of testing.

Breakfast will be available to all seniors on this day.

This test requires a majority of our staff and classrooms to administer. On that date, the only activity at the main campus will be the 12th graders testing.

Sophomores and Juniors will have the opportunity to job shadow or visit a college, trade school, or Military Career Center. They must bring the form back signed by the location of their career, post-secondary or Military Career Center visit in order to NOT have an unexcused absence on this day. Students are not permitted to job shadow at other Jefferson County Schools.

The 9th graders at Patriot Academy will be on a regular schedule.

Please contact your child’s school counselor if you have any further questions.
