It's now time to begin the FAFSA.

For the CLASS of 2019, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open. Apply NOW

All seniors are encouraged to complete the FAFSA as this application is required to determine eligibility for most state and federal financial aid, including the Federal Pell Grant, Hope Scholarship and the Tennessee Promise.

Students must submit the FAFSA by February 1st to remain eligible to participate in the Tennessee Promise Scholarship program.

If you need help, we have JCHS FAFSA Workshops scheduled (no appointment required)

 Thursday, November 29th 11-4 pm 

Tuesday, December 11th  4-7 pm

You can these important documents to the Fenzy event to make completing the FAFSA much easier.

Students and their parents should bring (if available):

> 2017 Federal Tax Return or other income documentation

> Social Security number(s)

> 2017 W-2 Forms or year-end pay stubs and other year-end records of money received

> 2017 untaxed income records, such as child support received and veterans non-education benefits

> Current information on checking and savings account balances; stock, bond, and other investments; and business and farm assets

> Your alien registration card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)

> Student and parent FSA IDs to sign the FAFSA. (Apply for your FSA ID at

This information is helpful to complete the FAFSA, but not required to attend the TN FAFSA Frenzy event.
