Microsoft Office Specialist Certification

Recently at Jefferson County High School, students in Dual Credit Computer Applications class prepared to take a Microsoft Certification test to show their knowledge and skills in that field. Teresa Adams and Keela Long, teachers in the JCHS Business Department, teach the important industry standard computing skills. Microsoft Certifications provide students and potential employers confidence that these students are work-force ready with programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. By getting three certifications you are considered an expert in the field. Ms. Long said, “The benefit of this certification is it looks great on resumes and helps the student get better jobs.”
