Experience

I started my teaching career at Walters State Community College with the Talented and Gifted Program and moved on to teaching non-credit courses in German for area businesses.  After completing my degrees, I began teaching in the Knox County Schools System, where I taught French 2 - AP French 5 and German 1 through Advanced Placement Level 5.  Afterwards, I taught refugees English through an East Tennessee Refugee organization, which I continued until 2007.   In the Fall of 2004, my career of teaching German at JCHS began.  During this time, I have taught levels 1-4.  During the 2013-2014, Jefferson County High School will offer honor's courses in German for levels 1-4 with the ultimate goal of adding an Advanced Placement course.
