I graduated from JCHS in 2012 with high honors. I went on to graduate from East Tennessee State University in May of 2016 with a bachelor's degree in special education: modified and comprehensive.

I completed the first half of my student teaching in Washington County in a K-4 resource position, and I completed the remainder of my student teaching at Science Hill High School in a comprehensive setting. I also co-directed a program called POP Arts (Power of Performing Arts) in Johnson City, TN, as an undergraduate.

My name is McKenze Wiseman, and I am originally from Talbott, TN. I attended Alpha Elementary School and All Saints Episcopal School in Hamblen County. I also attended Talbott Elementary in Jefferson County. I attended West View Middle School, where Dr. Scott Walker was my principal. I then moved to Jefferson Middle School and attended JCHS. After graduating from JCHS in 2012, I attended ETSU and obtained my bachelor's degree in special education. Since my graduation in May of 2016, I have returned home to JCHS. I had such wonderful teachers and administrators here that inspired me to become who I am, and I hope to become an inspiration to the next generation in our Jefferson County community. Here at home, I have a rescued dog, Addie, and a cat, Walnita, that I absolutely adore. I love reading, writing, volunteering, playing sports, running, traveling, eating desserts, and spending time with my family!
