Doug Seals-Head Baseball Coach

       Coach Seals enters his second season as head coach for the Patriots' head coach and 12th season with the Patriot program.  He led the 2004 team to a second straight District II championship and a second straight regional berth.  Before becoming the head coach, Seals served as the assistant coach for the Patriots for 10 years.  Coach Seals emphasizes pride to his players and wants his players to represent JCHS with a first-class attitude.

    Coach Seals enters his 32nd year as an educator.  He is currently in his first year teaching at JCHS after spending the previous 31 years at Rush Strong.  Coach Seals teaches Physical Education, Wellness, and CPR.  In addition to his head coaching duties, Seals also oversees the Patriot pitching staff.

    Seals is a native of Jefferson County and he earned his Bachelor's degree from Carson-Newman College.  While at Carson-Newman, Seals pitched for the Eagles.  Coach Seals and his wife, Claudia, live in Jefferson City.  They have one son, Noel, who played for the Patriots from 2000-2003.
